What people actually say on the phone

  • “Fresh food side sits around 50°F while the freezer is still rock hard”
  • “Water dripping from the ceiling of the fresh food compartment”
  • “Compressor runs non-stop and the cabinet never pulls down”
  • “Ice maker stopped filling — no water, no cubes, no noise”

None of these are guesses on our side — they are the sentences that come down the line, and each one maps to a short list of causes we test for.

What this will cost you

One figure is published and it is the same on every job: a $89 service call, credited in full against an approved repair. We do not print repair prices, because a figure quoted before anyone has seen your appliance is a figure we could not honour. What we can tell you now is exactly what moves each one — then you get one firm number, in writing, before any work begins.

$89 service call, credited in full against an approved repair · every repair price is agreed in writing before work starts
Job What drives the number What that covers
Service call $89 Covers the visit, the meter work and a written price before anything is opened. Credited in full against an approved repair.
Refrigerator evaporator fan or defrost fault A single fan motor sits well below a full defrost circuit, and how much of the freezer liner comes apart to reach the coil sets the labour. The usual answer to "fridge warm, freezer fine".
Sealed-system diagnosis and repair The one job that opens the sealed system — recovery, brazing, evacuation and a fresh charge. Comfortably the most expensive line on this board, and quoted only after gauges are on. We tell you plainly when it is not worth doing.
Ice maker fill valve or module A fill valve alone against the whole ice module, plus whether the supply line has to be run back to the shutoff. Includes flushing the fill line back to the shutoff.
Door seal, hinge or alignment work Gasket, hinge set, or both. Panel-ready and integrated doors add time because they come off and go back without marking the cabinetry. The cheapest work we do, and often the fix for a unit that "will not hold heat".

The full price board is on the homepage. Anything outside these rows gets the same treatment: diagnosed first, priced second, agreed with you third, and only then opened up. Book online or call (425) 272-6613.

What Issaquah says

4.9/ 5· 1,167 reviews

  • Compressor ran without stopping and the cabinet never pulled down. Gauges went on before anything was opened up. A condenser fan that had quit turning, replaced, and temperature was holding by that evening.

    Nadja W. · Issaquah Highlands · Mar 2026

  • Fresh food side had crept up to 52°F with a full cabinet in it. Evaporator fan diagnosed inside fifteen minutes, the motor was on the van, and he logged the pull-down before leaving.

    Dave & Ronan P. · Talus · Jul 2025

  • One compartment ran warm while the other was perfect. The damper had stuck part open. Priced before he started, finished under it, and he said plainly which of two smaller faults could wait.

That is usually enough to know what the part is before anyone gets in the van. $89 service call, credited in full against an approved repair, and a firm price agreed before anything is opened up.
